Half-way there

Good Evening Folks,

This evening I completed my Thursday night arm circuit work out! I will post pictures of the results as told by my heart rate monitor. I have found the work out that I have been doing on both Tuesday and Thursday averages a 500 calorie burn without fail. In all honesty in the next thirty days of this challenge I really need to stop simply completing my Cardio and be intentional and kill every second of it. Right now when I get on the elliptical I just do my four minutes and get off and get into the weight training  Tonight I will post the work out I have been doing.

I am feeling good, however I haven't lost a pound in the last four weeks! I have always heard people say, "you can lose inches and not pounds." but I always thought that is insane! Well people I am officially living proof and I have some stats for you! I am so looking forward to seeing a change in the scale over the next 30 day's though. Our challenge will end on July 6th, just to give you a time frame, and it is a 90 day time frame!

Joey will be coming home tomorrow and this is the last weekend he is returning before the following weekend in which he will be home or good! For those that do not know, we have been in a long distance relationship for the past four years! He is my high school sweet heart and now my hubby to be. There is much excitement around here and I so look forward to documenting our lives!

Have a wonderful weekend and be sure to enjoy and love on your mamma's! I know I will!

The Waiting Game

This is where the journey beings! Joey is about to graduate with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance in just two short weeks. What an accomplishment this is, my Hubby-to-be is not nearly has content in a classroom as he is working outside with his hands, and so seeing him thrive and accomplish this for the sake of our future is so exciting and definitely something to be proud of! I am currently a nanny to my two soon to be niece and nephew. They are darling and precious, what a gift it has been to serve their family through loving on their kiddos! As for the future, I am not sure, I am just waiting on the Lord.

However, In this season it has been made clear to me that I am first and foremost a Bride-to-be praying her man through the entry into career world. I am having to learn what it means to step back and put his best interest before mine first hand through assisting him in any way possible in order to guarantee him a job come wedding day.

In the mean time we have several goals that we have set for ourselves. Going into this next chapter of life it is both of our desires to live a healthy lifestyle out from the get-go. Therefore this summer we will be spending much free time outdoors enjoying each day for its worth, as well as learning to cook with more natural and fresh products. We will be limiting dates that include dining out and learn to adjust our habits and tenancies for the better!

Our wedding date is set for October the 26th. I just picked up my gown yesterday and am still just as in love with it as I was the day I picked it out. This entire process is so surreal, it feels as though it is someone's story other than mine I am living out. We are now just six months away from the big day and there is much more to be done.

I have began to eat healthy and eliminating certain things from my diet that are really hurting me more than benefiting me and I am current'y involved in a 90 day challenge with my father and step-mom! Lots going on around here! Please Tag- along!
